A format name alone doesn’t guarantee conversion. Codec, source and device limits apply. MP3, Opus and Vorbis support includes compatible stream-copy workflows; new encoding into those codecs is not bundled.

Do I need to upload my files?
No. Conversion happens on your Android device. If you choose a cloud-backed file provider or share an output with another app, that service handles its own transfers. Optional app statistics, crash reports and advertising are covered separately in the privacy policy.
Which formats can I convert?
The app checks your file, requested settings and available device capabilities before showing compatible choices. Supported workflows include MP4, MOV, MKV and AVI video containers, WAV and FLAC audio, and PNG and JPEG images. Some formats support copying existing media rather than new encoding. Not every input can convert to every output.
Will a smaller file have the same quality?
Reducing picture size or re-encoding at a lower bitrate can lose detail. The quality controls help you choose the tradeoff. Original quality uses compatible stream copy where possible, without re-encoding; it does not support every transformation or guarantee a smaller file. No setting can restore detail missing from the original.
Can I pause a conversion and continue later?
Where the selected conversion supports safe checkpoints, you can pause and resume from saved progress. Some formats and operations need to restart unfinished media after an interruption. The app explains the recovery limits before you begin. Your original file stays unchanged.
What happens when my battery is low or my phone gets hot?
Conversion stops when battery checks or reported thermal conditions make it unsafe to continue. Choose Only when plugged in to wait for connected power and other safety conditions. Temperature reporting varies by device; the app does not promise a fixed temperature cutoff. Restart-only conversions may need you to start over after interruption.
